Newcastle are looking to add to their left-back options during the ongoing transfer window and have been linked with a move for Jetro Willems.

The Eintracht Frankfurt star was on loan at St. James’ Park last season and has been associated with returning to the club on another loan deal this month.

Now, PSV Eindhoven star Gloster has emerged as another option for the Tyneside-based club as they step up their efforts to bolster their squad in the final days of the window.

According to Dutch regional daily the Eindhovens Dagblad, Newcastle have asked about Gloster.

With the youngster attracting interest from Premier League, PSV Eindhoven are open to letting him go this month.

However, Steve Bruce’s side are yet to make a formal approach to try and acquire the services of the 20-year-old left-back.

With time running out in the transfer window, it remains to be seen if Newcastle will pursue a deal for Gloster.
