With 74 goals in 30 Scottish Premiership games, Rangers’ attacking department have ravaged opponents in the league en route to their 26 wins.

However, the Gers have been equally dominant at the other end of the pitch with 22 clean sheets to their name, shipping a measly nine goals.

Rangers centre-back Helander has revealed that he takes great pride in the number of clean sheets his team have registered so far in the campaign.

The Sweden international added that the whole team echo his own sentiments and are proud of the defensive discipline they have shown over the course of this season.

Asked how much personal pride he takes in the number of clean sheets Rangers have had so far this season, Helander told Rangers TV: “Of course, as a defender you don’t score that many goals

“So, you have to look at something else and it is something that I personally value as well a lot and I know we are doing as a team as well

“Especially the defensive unit, it is something we also talk about and really something to take pride in.”

In addition to their excellent defensive record, the Rangers backline have been proficient at the other end of the pitch as well with the likes of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson and Borna Barisic chipping in with goals and assists.
