The 28-year-old winger has been without a club since leaving Sheffield Wednesday at the end of his contract in the summer.

After spending almost three months as a free agent, Harris appears to have finally found a home in the Ukraine.

The former Sheffield Wednesday star is set to join Ukrainian second tier club Metalist Kharkiv on a free transfer.

Having spent the entirety of his career in England so far, Harris is now set to ply his trade for a club outside the country for the first time.

The Englishman joined Sheffield Wednesday from Cardiff City in the summer of 2019 and went on to spend two seasons with the Owls.

Harris scored three goals and provided nine assists from 88 appearances during his two-year spell at Sheffield Wednesday.

Metalist Kharkiv currently sit atop the Ukrainian First League table and Harris will be hopeful of helping earn them promotion this season.
