Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds finished in the top half of the table in their first season back in the Premier League since 2004 and it raised expectations for this term.

However, Leeds were quiet in the transfer window over the summer and the only senior players added were Junior Firpo and Daniel James.

The side have been hit by injuries of late and boss Bielsa has been forced to dip into the youth ranks due to his insistence on running a small senior squad.

Leeds fans are now assessing the start to the season, with David Eddy insisting that a number of players at the club have been playing above themselves and cannot sustain the level.

Emilio Goodalli pointed out that contracts for many players have been renewed and is baffled over Tyler Roberts still being at the club.

LuFc Ben is sure Leeds will survive and thinks that it is a case of needing to build slowly, while Cumbrian White thinks just avoiding relegation would be an achievement.

However, for Allbowe, Leeds did not overachieve last term and have just been hit by a tough start and an injury crisis.
