The Ligue 1 giants are set to host Manchester City in a mouth-watering clash in the Champions League on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes

Following a summer transfer window that saw them make a clutch of high profile signings in the likes of Messi, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Sergio Ramos, PSG are touted to be amongst the favourites to lift the Champions League trophy this term along with the Citizens, who finished runners-up last term.

However, Le Parisiens boss Mauricio Pochettino has been sweating over the fitness of key players in Messi, who picked up a knock in the win over Lyon earlier this month, and Verratti.

But both Messi and Verratti are taking part in today’s training session’s ahead of their upcoming clash against Manchester City.

Messi and Verratti could feature for PSG on Wednesday, which would undoubtedly be a huge boost for them while taking on an in-form Manchester City side.

Pep Guardiola’s side are currently top of their group having thumped RB Leipzig 6-3 in their opening game while PSG are yet to hit their full stride this season after being held to a 1-1 draw by Club Brugge in their first European outing.

Manchester City came out on top last season when they faced PSG in the semi-finals of the Champions League, knocking them out with a 4-1 aggregate win over two legs.
