The midfielder played for Arsenal from 2004 to 2011 and was part of several heated derbies with their city rivals Spurs.

Fabregas’ other stint in English football so far in his career was with Chelsea, another club that have cultivated a heated rivalry with Tottenham.

Spurs have found it difficult to reach their peak form under new boss Nuno Espirito Santos this season, much to the dissatisfaction of their fans.

And it appears Fabregas has poked fun at Tottenham, how they are currently performing on the pitch.

The ex-Gunners man was asked about his opinion on Spurs on social media and he laughed off the question.

“He he he”, Fabregas replied on Twitter when asked about his thoughts on Spurs.

Spurs are currently sixth in the Premier League standings while Fabregas’ former side Arsenal are in tenth, although they have not lost in the league since late August, and are slowly clawing their way back up the table after a poor start.
