Christensen has been an important player for Chelsea this season, helping them earn a place at the top of the Premier League table and win two of their three Champions League group stage matches.

 

While there are question marks around his future at Stamford Bridge with his contract with Chelsea coming to an end next summer, the 25-year-old continues to impress for the Blues.

 

 

Former Chelsea midfielder Fabregas is among those impressed with the Denmark international, who he feels is underrated and deserves more credit for his contributions.

 

Fabregas also pointed out how Christensen is a shy player, but went on to explain that he does not have to make much noise because he hardly puts a foot wrong for Chelsea.

The Spaniard also admitted that he would have loved to play under Thomas Tuchel and says that the current Chelsea side are more complete and talented than the team he played in.

 

Asked if he would have liked to play for the current Chelsea side under Tuchel, Fabregas wrote, “Oh yes! We had great teams in my time at Chelsea but never had a squad as complete and talented as that one.

Christensen has a contract with Chelsea coming to an end next summer and it remains to be seen if he will put pen to paper on a fresh deal with the European champions.
