The 46-year-old’s current coaching staff at Rangers include first team coach Roy Makaay, performance analyst Yori Bosschaart and fitness coach Arno Phillips.

Van Bronckhorst is looking to make more additions to his backroom staff and according to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, he has found the newest member of his coaching staff in former Ajax Under-18s coach Vos.

The 38-year-old part of Ajax’s academy set-up from 2011 onwards and this season he was in charge of the Under-18s.

However, Van Bronckhorst wants Vos in Glasgow and Rangers are set to sign him on an initial deal until the summer of 2024 or 2025.

Vos has already said his goodbyes to his former charges at Ajax and is expected to take charge in his new role alongside Van Bronckhorst soon.

In addition to his stint at Ajax, Vos also has experience coaching youth teams at AZ Alkmaar.
