The 27-year-old was a fixture at FC Porto under Sergio Conceicao in the recently concluded campaign.

Otavio’s performances for the Portuguese giants did not go unnoticed and he has been monitored on a regular basis by scouts from several teams throughout this season.

Newcastle have the Portugal international on their transfer radar as boss Eddie Howe looks to overhaul his squad in the forthcoming summer transfer window.

And according to Portuguese daily A Bola, the Magpies are joined by their top-flight rivals Liverpool and Manchester United in their admiration for the Porto star.

The trio of Premier League outfits all have Otavio’s name in each of their transfer wish lists for the summer window and could launch swoops for him in the coming weeks.

Otavio has been on the books at the Estadio do Dragao for eight years now, signing an extension in 2021, which will see him contracted there until the summer of 2025.

However, the Porto star has a release clause worth €60m that can be triggered by potential suitors to snare him away.
