Bergwijn has been heavily linked with leaving Tottenham in the ongoing window as he is keen on an exit.

Dutch giants Ajax are pushing to land the winger and are even prepared to break their transfer record to snare him away.

Bergwijn struggled for game time at Spurs last term and he wants to play regularly while it has been claimed that he also has potential suitors in the Premier League.

Brighton, who are on the lookout for reinforcements in attack, are claimed to be interested in a swoop for Bergwijn, while they have also been credited with interest in Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi.

However, the Seagulls are not keen on a move for Bergwijn nor do they want to sign the Blues star.

Graham Potter’s side are set to snap up winger Simon Adingra from Danish outfit Nordsjaelland although he will be loaned back to his current side.

While Brighton will not provide Bergwijn a way out of Tottenham this summer, Ajax are tipped to look to seal a deal for him next month to take him back to the Netherlands.
