It has been a chaotic time at Everton recently as on-pitch results have started to reflect on off-the-field happenings too.

Manager Frank Lampard has been sacked and they risk losing players such as Onana and Anthony Gordon in the current window.

Chelsea are interested in the Belgian star, though Arsenal are also suggested to be targeting the midfielder this window.

The Blues made a proposal to Onana but it has been turned down by the Everton star, according to Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad.

Onana is said to be concentrated on Everton for the time-being and has thus reacted negatively to Chelsea’s advances.

The Belgian star missed training recently and it fuelled speculation over a potential transfer but it is claimed that the absence was planned.

While it has been a disappointing season for Everton, Onana has impressed for the Toffees, playing all but one match in the Premier League for them.

And the midfielder does not want to walk away from Everton’s relegation battle.
