Fraser has been limited to just eight games for Newcastle this season as the Magpies’ attacking depth has pushed him out of the team.

Moreover, the winger has not played a single game since mid-October for Newcastle and does not have a goal contribution.

Fraser is keen to move on from St James’ Park and Newcastle are prepared to play ball.

Now, Newcastle are discussing with Hull City a potential move for Fraser on deadline day to help the player receive more minutes on the pitch.

Hull are close to signing Karl Darlow on loan from Newcastle and they could see another incoming from the Magpies to their club.

It remains to be seen what the outcome of the negotiation is and if Fraser does indeed move to the Tigers today.

Hull City are also set to sign Marseille winger Konrad de la Fuente and could bolster their wing department even further by bringing in Fraser.
