Bellingham has been heavily linked with a move away from Dortmund in the summer, with Liverpool believed to be pushing to take him to Anfield.

Manchester United have also joined the race for a player who is also a top target for European giants Real Madrid in the next transfer window.

Dortmund want to keep him for at least one more season and are prepared to offer him a bumper new contract in order to hold on to him.

According to German daily Bild, BVB are ready to offer him a new deal worth €15m per season in order to keep him at the Westfalenstadion.

He is currently on a deal worth €6m per year but Dortmund are ready to more than double those wages.

If he agrees to sign that new deal, it would make Bellingham the club’s highest-paid player ever.

With Dortmund in the title race, the club believe keeping hold of Bellingham this summer could be a massive statement in the market.

They are also prepared for the prospect of him leaving but want a fee of €150m before agreeing to sell the 19-year-old.
