Kudus has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League ahead of the next transfer window.

Manchester United and Newcastle have their eyes on him and he has also been linked with a move to Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.

In an underwhelming season for Ajax, Kudus has still managed to stand out and has scored 18 goals in all competitions.

Jennifer Mendelewitsch, his agent, claimed that the player has already rejected an offer of a new deal from Ajax and believes it is the right time for him to leave the club this summer.

The player’s agent told Dutch daily De Telegraaf: “I think it’s best both for Ajax and Mohammed that he gets a transfer now.

“This is the right time.

“He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026.”

However, the agent refused to divulge the names of the clubs chasing Kudus ahead of the next window.

“What I can say is that after the World Cup and this season, there is a lot of interest in Kudus.”

A trip to FC Twente on the final day of the season on Sunday could also be the final time Kudus features in an Ajax shirt.
