The Glasgow giants have one more game left in a season that has been a disappointment as they have failed to challenge Celtic properly in the title race and will end it without a trophy.

Rangers are preparing for a big summer of overhaul in their squad and Beale is keen to bring in certain first-team starters into his squad in the next transfer window.

He stressed that the club are in talks to sign players behind the scenes and there is a lot of hard negotiating going on in their attempts to strengthen the squad.

The Rangers boss is positive that he is going to have a squad next season with new players who will be better prepared to execute his style of football on the pitch.

Beale said in a press conference: “There is a lot of negotiating going on at the moment and I am really positive with how things are going.

“I am looking forward to a reset, strong players bringing in energy and playing with my style of play after a full pre-season.”

Rangers will hope to end the season with a win at St. Mirren this weekend and go into the summer break in a positive frame of mind.
