Zaha is a free agent and able to move without a transfer fee this summer, something which has made him a hugely attractive target for several clubs.
Fenerbahce have gone in for Zaha, as have Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, but it is Lazio who are considered serious contenders.
A move to Serie A and Lazio would also offer Zaha the chance to play in the Champions League next season, which may be a major tempter.
However, Palace are privately confident they will not lose the 30-year-old.
The Eagles believe that Zaha will sign the contract which is on the table at Selhurst Park.
A new Crystal Palace deal would see Zaha take home a whopping £200,000 a week in wages.
He has used the club’s training base since his contract expired, though has not had contact with boss Roy Hodgson or club supremo Steve Parish.
