The 23-year-old Portuguese had an injury-riddled previous season and he only provided one assist in 18 Premier League appearances.
This season, however, Neto has made a flying start to his campaign as he has already made five goal contributions in six appearances.
Neto scored the only Wolves goal against Luton Town on Saturday in a 2-2 draw and Edwards feels that he worried the Hatters a lot with his performance.
However, he insisted that Neto’s quality combined with his age is bound to attract multiple top-level suitors and he is afraid that it will be difficult to keep him at the club.
“The problem Wolves will have is, there will be so many suitors for Pedro Neto, with his age his potential his pace every club in the Premier League will be interested in him”, Edwards wrote in his Express & Star column.
“Saturday was just another example of his ability and it was such a terrific goal.
“Luton were scared to death of him.”
Now it remains to be seen if the Molineux outfit will be able to keep the Portuguese at the club with four years remaining on his current contract.
