Chelsea are pushing forward again with their efforts to land Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion in the ongoing transfer window.

The 20-year-old attacker has been on Chelsea’s radar all summer but they failed to make much headway in negotiations earlier in the window.

However, the Atletico Madrid attacker has continued to remain a priority target for the Blues this summer.

With Conor Gallagher on his way to Atletico Madrid, Chelsea have now made a strong effort to sign the forward in the ongoing transfer window.

According to Italian broadcaster Sky Italia, the operation to take Omorodion to Chelsea is to move forward this summer.

It has been claimed that Chelsea are set to pay a fee of €50m to sign the 20-year-old attacker in the transfer window.

The Spaniard has always been keen on the move to Chelsea and the two clubs are now close to agreeing on a deal.

Omorodion spent last season on loan at Deportivo Alaves and scored nine times in 35 La Liga appearances for the club.
