Birmingham City boss Chris Davies has hailed Blues star Keshi Anderson as a ‘creative’ and ‘dangerous’ player, with pace.

The 29-year-old winger joined Birmingham in the summer of 2023 and remained this summer as the club strengthened heavily; he has been a regular in Davies’ starting line-up.

Anderson netted his fifth goal of the season against Exeter City in the second round of the EFL Trophy this week to help Blues secure a 2-1 win to progress to the next round.

Davies admitted that Anderson managed to score the goal with good technique and pointed out the challenge for the winger is to keep improving.

The Birmingham boss admitted that Anderson is having a good season and hailed the player for his pace, creativity and posing a dangerous threat to the opposition.

When discussing Anderson’s impact on Blues’ game in the final third, Davies told Birmingham City TV: “He does. I mean, he finished that really well, actually.

“As I say, the left winger crossing the ball to the right winger, that is a good sign because he is coming in to score; he took it really well on his left foot.

“He is quick, he is dangerous, he is creative and he can finish.

“He is having a good season and it’s the challenge for Keshi to maintain and improve upon that.”

Birmingham will take on Bristol Rovers at the weekend and Anderson will be hoping to continue his form in front of goal against the Gas.
