As reported earlier by insidefutbol.com, Fabrice Pancrate has completed a move to English Championship side Newcastle United. The former Paris Saint-Germain winger had been enjoying a few days with the English club and there was little doubt the speedy winger would impress.
The Frenchman has penned a deal to keep him at the Sportsdirect.com@St. James’ Park stadium until the end of the season, although both parties have the option to extend the agreement by a further year.
Pancrate had been interesting a number of Ligue 1 sides in his homeland, but the desire to test himself abroad after spending almost his entire career in French football, aside from a short spell with Real Betis, proved too strong.
