In the wake of Manchester United’s 4-1 victory of Portsmouth at the weekend, where Ryan Giggs scored his 100th Premier League goal, hat-trick hero Wayne Rooney was full of praise for the Welsh 36-year-old veteran.
“He is as good as ever. He is one of the sharpest every day in training and in this game on quite a difficult pitch and in difficult weather he puts in a performance like that. He is incredible. It is a privilege to play with him,” Rooney said to the Daily Telegraph.
