Kaka, although one of the vital signings in the latest Galactico era, has admitted his club are suffering from the large influx of new players at the Bernabeu. Many have criticised the Madrid club for not having an easily associable identity akin to rivals Barcelona, and the 28-year-old has sounded his agreement.
Speaking to Italian television channel RAI, Kaka said, “At Real Madrid, we are seeking an identity of play but it is not easy. We cannot have fun and feel [each other’s movement]. It’s not easy building a team. It’s not enough only to sign players. Barcelona have played together for years and we have eight or nine new players. To create a group requires a little time.”
Although these latest comments express the difficulty, even for world-class players, to settle down in a new environment, it will do little to lessen the exceptionally high expectations that have been placed on the Real Madrid squad.
