Manchester City manager Mark Hughes, has claimed he will not consider making an official complaint on Mark Clattenburg, despite the referee dismissing Craig Bellamy after he reportedly expressed his dislike for the forward. Man City sources say Clattenburg asked the club’s backroom staff at half-time, “How do you work with Craig Bellamy all week?”

Although clearly feeling aggrieved, Hughes has decided against further action. Speaking to The Times he said, “I don’t think there’s any means to [complain],” Hughes said. “I don’t want to take it any further. I’ve probably gone right up to the line, to be perfectly honest. We’re just a little bit frustrated by the level of performance that was produced by the officials.”

Although the former Blackburn manager will be disappointed with another draw, he will take solace in his side’s character to fight back after going behind three times at the Reebok Stadium. Man City will next face fellow aspiring top-four challenger Tottenham, at White Hart Lane on Wednesday.
