Unsettled Tottenham attackers David Bentley and Roman Pavlychenko may be forced to stay despite voicing their desires to leave the club. The two have failed to live up to expectations brought about their large price-tags, and have been used sparingly by manager Harry Redknapp.

David would like to move, there is no doubt about that,” Redknapp told the Daily Mail. “He feels he needs to move on and play. Obviously Pav wants to move but we are not mad to sell them. They are not going cheap and are both good players. It is up to the chairman and whether he gets the money and it is the right offer. I would not let them go cheaper. Otherwise you end up giving them all away.”

Bentley and Pavlyuchenko, who cost the club a total of roughly £30M, arrived last season to mixed reviews. The two have managed just 12 appearances combined this season, and should Tottenham’s valuation be met, are likely to leave the club sooner rather than later.
