The Daily Mail claims Ivan Cordoba looks set to join former manager Roberto Mancini at Eastlands. The 33-year-old defender has reportedly fallen out with current Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho, and is looking for a way out.
With defender Joleon Lescott out with a long-term injury, the City defence needs reinforcements to tighten up the back four. Cordoba, having enjoyed a successful spell under Mancini before the arrival of Mourinho, is keen to rekindle the relationship in the Premier League. The Columbian international won three Serie A titles under his former manager.
Mancini is also reportedly tracking Inter Milan defender Maicon as he assesses options to bolster his defensive choices.
