Sporting Lisbon, who are currently in the midst of a disappointing domestic season, are tracking Valencia full-back Aiser del Horno and have made their interest known to sporting director Fernando Gomez.

Gomez is quoted in Portuguese paper A Bola as saying, "We are awaiting a formal proposal from Sporting. We know of their interest in the player and he is receptive."

Both clubs are expected to step up negotiations soon and with del Horno keen on making the short trip to Portugal it appears the transfer could soon become a reality.
