Young AZ Alkmaar striker Moussa Dembele is looking for a move away from the Eredivisie champions to the Serie A. The 22-year-old, who was linked with Chelsea and Genoa, had attempts to move to Italy last summer turned down, and is determined to make his wish come true the second time around.
Dembele’s representative Patrick Vervoot told Sportsweek, “Moussa still eyes a transfer. He wants to make a next step. If you are with a certain club for a long period you need a new environment. Moussa is currently in his fourth season at AZ and this counts for him as well."
The Belgian striker played a key role in steering AZ Alkmaar to the Dutch title last year, and was widely seen as a one of the best players of the season in the Eredivisie.
