Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen, who enjoyed successful spells with Chelsea and Barcelona, is considering a return to English football after a move to Monaco in the summer has so far proved to be a disaster. The player has only played seven matches for the club since his arrival, and his father and agent, Arnor Gudjohnsen, admits the player is assessing his options.
"I am not sure what he is going to do," Gudjohnsen Snr told the Daily Mirror. "He is going to take the next two weeks to decide. He could stay. He is very open. Nobody knows yet. He is obviously seriously thinking about a return to England but he has not made any decision. It is in his hands."
Blackburn, West Ham and Tottenham are all said to be interested in the crafty 31-year-old forward.
