The Premier League’s rock bottom club, Portsmouth, who are also experiencing financial turmoil, are refusing to be bullied into selling their top players, and have set an example by valuing coveted centre-back Younes Kaboul at £14M, according to the Daily Mail.
Sunderland and Manchester City are said to be interested in boosting their defensive frailties by signing the Frenchman, but may now be dissuaded by the excessive amount the struggling club are requiring.
Portsmouth, who have suffered considerably since former manager Harry Redknapp left for Tottenham, are bracing themselves for an exodus at the club after experiencing financial crisis, and failing to improve their position in the league . Goalkeeper David James and winger Nadir Belhadj are believed to be attracting much interest as well
