According to France Football, Czech midfielder Jiri Jarosik has joined La Liga side Real Zaragoza. The 32-year-old, who has had spells at Chelsea, CSKA Moscow and Celtic will bring an experienced head to a side that is currently stuck in a relegation battle.
Jarosik is the third signing of the struggling side, who have already captured Lazio winger Eliseu and Monterrey striker Humberto Suazo. It is clear the club are attempting to reinforce a squad that has been suffering from dismal form. Zaragoza have managed only one win in their last ten games, losing six and drawing four.
Jarosik, who also enjoyed a brief loan spell with Birmingham, moves to La Liga from Russian side Krylia Sovetov, where he played for one-and-a-half seasons.
