Real Madrid club stalwart Guti has cast doubt upon his continued presence at the Bernabeu by confirming he wouldn’t mind a switch to another team.
Guti has made just nine appearances so far for Real Madrid this season and must contend with a midfield featuring Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso and Lassana Diarra.
The Real Madrid man told Canal+, "I’d like to stay at Real, that is true, but it’s also true that I’d like to change and wear another shirt. " Guti then raised the possibility, rumoured in the past few days, of a switch to Internazionale. "Would Inter be happy to buy me? Well, I’d be happy to go. I have two great friends there in [Wesley] Sneijder and [Walter] Samuel and the club is very competitive."
The midfielder has not always seen eye to eye at times this season with coach Manuel Pellegrini, and although he has outlasted a plethora of managers at Real Madrid, at 33-years-old the time may have come for Guti to finally make a change.
