AC Milan’s sparingly used striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is attracting interest from a host of clubs, with the Premier League confirmed to be a possible destination. Arnold Oosterveer, the player’s agent, claims his client may be forced to find a new club if the current situation at Milan doesn’t change.
“There are some clubs in England interested in the player, that is correct," Oosterveer told ESPN Soccernet. "But out of respect for the clubs I cannot tell you [which ones they are]. It depends. In football everything is possible and in the last week a lot of things can happen. He wants to play more than he plays now and if that is in England or Germany or Spain or Italy, that is for him [to decide].”
Huntelaar has made just five Serie A starts in six months after moving to the club from Real Madrid in the summer. It is believed he is seeking for a team that will allow him to cement his place in Holland World Cup squad.
