After a remarkable record season in which they won all the competitions they entered, it was no surprise that Barcelona had a strong presence in this year’s UEFA Team of the Year, which was voted upon by 320,000 uefa.com users. The team also features a heavy La Liga mix with only two Premier League players in John Terry and Patrice Evra not part of the Spanish league set up.
