Everton manager David Moyes is prepared to renew his interest in Arsenal outcast Philippe Senderos as he continues to search for a replacement for Galatasaray new-boy Lucas Neill. The Swiss international was subject to interest from the Merseyside club in the summer, but Everton were put off by Arsenal’s refusal to lower their asking price.

Senderos, who is almost certain to leave The Emirates before his contract expires at the end of the season, is also considering a move to Scottish giants Celtic on loan. The 24-year-old was part of a Switzerland team that didn’t concede for four games in the 2006 World Cup, and is determined to ensure he is in the squad’s mix again by finding regular first-team football away from Arsenal.

It is believed Moyes is tabling a loan deal to bring the Swiss to the club until the end of the season.
