Despite regularly expressing his intent to see off his career in the United States’ MLS, 32-year-old Barcelona forward Thierry Henry, claims that chapter of his life is one that he his not yet ready to open.
"There is nothing concrete being discussed with New York [Red Bulls],” said the Arsenal legend in France Football. “For now, all I’m thinking about is being with Barca until June 2011.”
His proposed switch to the MLS side is one that has been received with much excitement, with former Aston Villa standout and current New York Red Bull Juan Pablo Angel saying, "If you give me the choice to pick one player to come here I would take Thierry Henry without hesitation. It would be phenomenal, not only for New York but also for the entire Major League Soccer organization."
