Highly-rated Crystal Palace youngster Victor Moses, who has been linked by the Spanish press to such giants as Real Madrid and Barcelona, has agreed to join Premier League side Wigan. The 19-year-old has caused quite a buzz with his impressive performances in the Championship, and manager Roberto Martinez is quick to express his delight at capturing one of the most coveted young stars in England.

"He is a special talent," said Martinez to the club’s official website. "You can see that straightaway. He has been a big hit for Crystal Palace, and now he has the chance to grow and mature in the Premier League.”

The Nigerian-born footballer joins The Latics in a deal worth £2.5M. He will get his first chance to feature for his new club on Saturday, when Wigan face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
