After a surprise loan move to Celtic as the January transfer window was closing, Tottenham’s Robbie Keane is relishing the opportunity to play for the Scottish giants he has held in very high regard. Having witnessed the remarkable environment embodying the Celtic-Rangers rivalry in the stands, the Irishman is now desperate to be involved on the pitch.

"The Rangers-Celtic game is obviously massive," he said in The Guardian. "I’ve been lucky enough to be at the game a couple of years ago. The atmosphere was absolutely unbelievable. It’s a game I’m really looking forward to."

The 29-year-old, who has been spotted on numerous occasions catching games at Celtic Park, has made no secret of his fascination with the club in the past. He is in contention to make his debut tonight against Kilmarnock.
