Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes his side have not made the most of their opportunities as they sit sixth in the Premier League standings, a point behind fourth placed Liverpool. The former Portsmouth boss claims Spurs would be above Arsenal, who sit in third, had his team done better against clubs in the lower half of the table.
"In all honesty we’ve thrown a lot of good leads away and we really should be above Arsenal now," said Redknapp in the Premier League’s official website. He also revealed his ambition to qualify for Europe’s elite club competition, adding "It would be lovely to manage in the Champions League. Just to get Tottenham there would be lovely. It is something I would love to do.”
Spurs have drawn four of their last seven games, throwing away an opportunity to solidify their Champions League qualification hopes. Their quest to break into the top four continues when they visit Wolverhampton tonight.
