Manchester City new boy Adam Johnson is enjoying life in the Premier League after just recently making a successful starting debut. The highly rated 21-year-old joined the mega-rich club from Championship side Middlesbrough in the January transfer window, and has made an immediate impact.
"You have got to enjoy playing. I try to play like I am still on the school playground,” Johnson said to his club’s official website, adding, “It is a bit unfortunate that I am cup-tied on Saturday. It is a dream for me to play here and it obviously still feels a bit weird. But I like it here, especially the nice, big pitch that has so much width to allow me to get at defenders."
The 22-year-old midfield sensation caused quite a stir with his remarkable performances for Boro in the wake of Stewart Downing’s departure to Aston Villa, and is now set to dazzle in the top tier of English football.
Spurs have drawn four of their last seven games, throwing away an opportunity to solidify their Champions League qualification hopes. Their quest to break into the top four continues when they visit Wolverhampton tonight.
