Having just secured the highly coveted fourth spot of the Premier League last weekend, Liverpool have failed to stake their claim for the position by losing out to Arsenal just a few days after. Manager Rafa Benitez feels slightly aggrieved however, as he believes his side were prevented an opportunity to salvage a draw by the referee.

Speaking about the match to the club’s official website, Benitez vented his frustration, "Also we are really disappointed with the handball. It was very, very clear. The player was on the line. It was handball, so it has to be a penalty." He continued, "During the game I didn’t realise how clear the handball was. I’ve seen it on the replay and it was a handball and the referee was right there.”

Liverpool’s next Premier League fixture, a visit to Manchester City’s Eastlands, could be a match that will be vital in the race for fourth place.

Spurs have drawn four of their last seven games, throwing away an opportunity to solidify their Champions League qualification hopes. Their quest to break into the top four continues when they visit Wolverhampton tonight.
