Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez accepts his side maybe should have scored more goals in last night’s Europa League match against Unirea Urziceni at Anfield, but was generally pleased to be heading into the second leg with a 1-0 advantage.
"I think we started really well and the fans were behind the players, so I was really pleased for a while. But they were deep and we didn’t have many chances for a period,” Benitez said in the club’s official website. “Afterwards, we had some corners and were attacking and pushing. We could have scored more, and we will see what happens in the next game.”
Benitez and company travel to Bucharest to play the Romanian champions on the 25h of February.
