Arsenal legend Raymond Parlour believes Aaron Ramsey will have no trouble getting back to top fitness and fulfilling his massive potential at the club. The 19-year-old suffered a horrendous break in his leg at the weekend, but signs of a healthy recovery are looking promising after a successful initial operation.
“I am sure he will be fine,” the former England international told the club’s official website. “Robert Pires did his cruciate while I was at Arsenal and came back. Aaron has a strong body and a strong character for a 19-year-old. He’ll have to work hard on his fitness of course but I am sure he’ll be OK.”
Parlour graduated from the Arsenal youth academy, spent 13 years at the club, and finished his career off with spells at Middlesbrough and Hull City.
