The United States slumped to a 2-1 defeat against Holland on Wednesday night, but coach Brad Bradley wasn’t too hard on his side, who were missing some influential figures due to serious injuries. The American tactician instead chose to see the positive side of things as he continues to find the proper mix of players to use for the World Cup in June.
“It was a good test for us and I think overall we played well. The collective effort was pretty solid,” Bradley said to Fifa.com. “There were moments where it needed to be sharper, quicker and better and we still need to raise the bar. Late in the game it was nice to see a good push. We had the ability to move the ball forward get people running off it and we created some good opportunities.”
The USA side will next play the Czech Republic at home, before concluding their tune-ups against Turkey a few days after.
