Bayern Munich have successfully turned around their absolutely torrid start to the season, finding themselves now at the pinnacle of the Bundesliga standings, and with the advantage against Fiorentina going into the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie.

"Bayern have a great winning history – but not in the last few years," midfielder Anatolly Tymoshchuck conceded to UEFA.com. "Everyone is expecting us to win a European trophy. I think it is possible with this team because we have very good players. With players of this quality we can win any tournament."

Tymoshchuck reveals that the appointment of a new coach at the start of the season was the reason for their slow start. With all the players adapted to the new system, the German giants are looking very dangerous once again.
