Arsenal have some good news on the injury front, with word that Denilson and Andrey Arshavin have recovered from calf and hamstring problems, respectively. With an absence of central midfielders with Abou Diaby unlikely to feature, Aaron Ramsey out for the season, and Alex Song starting a two-game suspension, the reinforcements in the middle of the park could prove to be perfect timing.
“We have the luck that Denilson could be available again," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online on Thursday. "He did not travel to Stoke last week because he had an injury to his calf. Arshavin could be available and there is a little, little chance that Diaby could be available again too. I am convinced that Denilson and Arshavin will be OK but for Diaby it is 50:50.”
Arsenal continue their title push when they face Burnley at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
