Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has urged his team to keep up their level of play as they can no longer afford any mistakes. The Reds are currently sixth in the league, a point behind Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, who are in prime position capture the coveted fourth spot in the standings.

“Manchester City, Tottenham and Aston Villa will be very dangerous so we cannot make many mistakes,” Benitez said in the club’s official website. “We know last year was really good in terms of points in the league (86) and now we are in a different and more difficult situation because the expectations were very high. It is really difficult because we have three or four teams really close.

Liverpool will look to build upon an encouraging run of form that has seen them win five of their last seven games.
