Former Real Madrid and Arsenal striker Davor Suker has said he believes Raul should move to England to play in the Premier League. Suker, who is a personal friend of the Spanish legend, has spoken in glowing terms of his own decision to experience English football before hanging up his boots.

"I’d love Raul to finish his career in London, as I told him when we met" Suker told Marca, "It would be nice [for him] to finish his career in a league as nice as the English one."

Suker himself turned out for both Arsenal and West Ham at the end of a career which had seen him spend eight years in Spain, three of those with Real Madrid. The Croatian then moved to Germany for a brief spell with 1860 Munich before finally calling time on an illustrious playing career.
