Juventus president Jean-Claude Blanc has denied widely reported stories that he met with France boss Raymond Domenech. It had been suggested by sections of the press that Domenech could be interesting Juventus and that Blanc had discussed matters with him.

"I have neither bumped into or recently met Raymond Domenech, and I have not spoken with him" explained the Juventus president to L’Equipe as he sought to play down speculation the France coach would be Juventus’s next boss.

"There is no possibility that Raymond Domenech is the next Juventus coach" stated Blanc.

Juventus are still believed to be on the lookout for a new coach to take them into the next campaign with Liverpool’s Rafael Benitez believed to be a leading candidate. However, should the Old Lady not be able to secure a better coach than current incumbent Alberto Zaccheroni, then it is likely they will stick with the former AC Milan boss.
