Wigan manager Roberto Martinez, who is currently stuck plotting a way to get out of the relegation battle, has shared his views on the immensely tight race for fourth spot between Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur. The Spanish tactician believes that experience will be key, and that The Reds will benefit massively from their abundance of such.
“They have got great experience in trying to achieve the aim they are looking for and, whoever is going to have that composure and calmness in the next 10 or 11 games, which they have got, it’s going to make a big difference," Martinez said, before adding, "Looking at the Liverpool squad and the other squads around them, that position is their’s to lose.”
The Merseyside giants are currently in sixth place, one point behind fourth placed Tottenham.
