Chelsea attempt to reclaim the top position in the Premier League when they face West Ham United today. The Blues have not been enjoying the best run of form as of late, losing twice in their last four matches in all competitions, including a 4-2 defeat to Manchester City in their latest league game. Midfielder John Obi Mikel is aware of his side’s stuttering form, and is hoping his team will do better than the draw they played out at Upton Park in the first half of the campaign.
“It has always been difficult, against West Ham especially, and they will want to frustrate us again but we have to attack and play our game, and try to make sure we get goals in the first 15, 20 minutes,” Mikel said on the club’s official website.
Chelsea are currently two points behind leaders Manchester United, but have a game in hand.
